Asian Décor

Highly-cultural unique Asian Décor!

Asians have various home architectural styles. Depending on the country, people show this uniqueness in their Asian home decorations. Examples are Asian rugs and also Asian lamps found in most homes.

Home decors need not be very expensive. Some can be bought in antique shops or those selling some knick-knacks used to decorate most homes. Most Asian rooms are of these knick-knacks as Asians are fond of surrounding themselves with them.

Any Asian nationality can be distinguished by the particular type of items used as Asian home decorations. The people of the Indian sub-continent are very fond of rugs and carpets in their homes. Both Hindus and Muslims use the decorations to enhance their comfort as well as for religious ceremonies too.

Other nationalities such as the Thais, Laotians and Vietnamese have common Asian style decorations which are mainly influenced by the Chinese culture. All three peoples have significant Chinese practices which they acquired over the centuries.

We can safely say that all three have almost the same Asian rooms pertaining to the way they decorate their homes. Their common Asian style decorations are easily recognizable by any well-traveled tourist.

An Asian bedroom, which is typically the most prized location in the house, is often filled with expensive Asian rugs and wonderful Asian lamps of exquisite quality workmanship.

When visiting other countries especially those in Asia, try to note some of the decorations of homes you are able to get invited into. I am sure you will agree that Asian rooms are very livable because their comfort is very inviting to anyone.

Perhaps it might even be a better idea if you have a friend from Asia who will graciously invite you to stay a week or two with them. That way, you will really experience what it is like to stay in an authentic Asian bedroom.

Asians live differently from most Westerners. The usual American or British lifestyle is to live in a cluttered room which is not the case with most Asians who like order not in their personal lives but in the way they live as well.

Majority of decorations can be considered as knick-knacks but they are an important of the Asian culture. These items reflect their heritage such as religious beliefs, superstitions, daily practices even the asian martial arts.

When on a country tour, buy some of them as gifts or souvenirs. They could also become your collection.
